The Wiring Specialties Alternator Charge Cables are designed for a DIRECT connection between the starter and the alternator. 

By utilizing a high temp 6 AWG wire, it allows for much higher current carrying capacity than the factory charge cable. This is perfect for engine swaps or upgraded alternators. 

Each cable will improve charging performance by reducing the charge wire length by half and by using upgraded materials vs the factory setup.
